Look! No Blanket

Since Brenna was first born I have swaddled her when she sleeps. When she developed acid reflux the only way to calm her down was to wrap her up tight and shhh in her ear. Because of this she has never been able to sleep with her arms and legs free. She can fall asleep in my arms but as soon as I try to lay her down her reflexes kick in and she startles her self awake.

When we were on vacation her sleep schedule was a little off. One day when we were at my parents house I was sitting on the couch with Brenna. She started to get really tired and just fell asleep...with no blanket. It was amazing because she actually slept there for 30 minutes.

Brenna and I took quite a few naps together when we were on vacation. This time she looked so funny we had to take a picture of it.

We still wrap her up to sleep. She isn't able to get her full nap in when she is unwrapped. She has gotten too strong for the blankets that I made for her so I bought her a miracle blanket. I LOVE it! Thanks Sara for the idea, it has saved my life.

haha, that last one is great. So sweet & peaceful..it's nice while it lasts huh? Naps were so brief at that age for E, if he took one at all.
love & hugs,

Yeah! I am so glad it worked for you guys! I know it does not seem like it now but I promise one day she will not need to be swaddled to sleep. I thought KaeLynn would never be able to sleep without being swaddled but she slowly grew out of it.

Hi, please pardon the intrusion. I’m Mike Gatten, inventor of Miracle Blanket. Your blog was brought to my attention because of your mention of the Miracle Blanket. I can’t thank you and others enough for helping us spread the word because people just don’t believe us when we tell them it might be “this easy.” That's why word-of-mouth has been the biggest source of growth for us since day one.

To show our gratitude I'd like to send you a free Miracle Blanket. If you don’t need it for yourself you might give it as a gift or maybe a giveaway on your blog.

Please contact Susan in Marketing and let her know what color you would like.

And again, thank you very much.
